Thin needles of blue amphibole riebeckite in quartz. The needles are so thin that they look almost white in this sample.
Reportedly, also rare blue tourmaline olenite have been identified together with riebeckite in this kind of material.
Crystals of quartz with these bluish fluffy amphiboles inside are commonly sold under commercial name “blue tara quartz”.
